CS Semiconductor was founded in 2016 and has offices in Hong Kong, South Korea, and China. The company was established in anticipation of the rise of industries such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT), where there will be new and evolving demands for semiconductor chips.

As user demands evolve, there is a growing need for personalized solutions that are quickly delivered. Key challenges include achieving low power consumption, compact size, stable performance, appropriate capacity, cost efficiency, and significantly reducing development time to accelerate project research and development.

In today’s globally interconnected environment, CS Semiconductor leverages chip design capabilities and supply resources from South Korea and Taiwan, while achieving packaging and testing in China. We also offer localized services and support. Currently, the company is focused on the research and development (R&D) and production of SD NAND storage products.

In 2016, we launched the first generation of SD NAND products, offering customers high compatibility, consistency, and stable and reliable soldering. This greatly reduced the failure rates associated with other storage products, and helped our customers shorten the R&D time for debugging small-capacity memory chip drivers, accelerating project iteration cycles.

In 2018, to meet the growing demands of industries such as rail transportation, aerospace, industrial control, and instrumentation, CS Semiconductor introduced the second generation of SD NAND products. These products offer faster read and write speeds and support a wider range of operating environments, capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, thermal shock, random power-off, and other harsh conditions. Additionally, we provide customers with personalized firmware customization services.

In 2020, with the rise of smart wearable devices and the continuous development of the IoT, user demands for storage capacity increased. CS Semiconductor introduced the 4GB SD NAND product, which provides the smallest form factor and the fewest pins for the same storage capacity, helping customers develop more compact and stable products.

CS Semiconductor's products are now widely used in industries including medical devices, industrial control, rail transportation, security, networking equipment, IPC, body-worn cameras, video intercoms, access control and attendance systems, tablets, automotive electronics, power equipment, industrial instruments, POS systems, and educational electronics. Our successful partners include companies such as CRRC Corporation, China Aerospace, China Shipbuilding Group, Tsinghua University, Tangmao, 360, and more. We also cooperate with major CPU platforms such as ST, NXP, TI, Microchip, Nordic, ESPRESSIF, MTK, Qualcomm, etc.

Looking ahead, CS Semiconductor will continue to focus on emerging markets such as IoT and artificial intelligence.
